Now, time for another drama review! :D This year there are so many detective dramas and one of them is "Kagi no Kakatta Heya". I finished watching this drama last month and was quite satisfied with the whole plot and even the ending.

"Kagi no Kakatta Heya" means The Locked Room Murders. The main guy in the drama was Enomoto Kei, played by Arashi's Ohno Satoshi. Enomoto was a worker in a security company which jobs were to improve the securities system in daily basis. He was a unique person that he has this one weird passion. He loved unlocking the unlock lock. There was no key that he couldn't unlocked. Enomoto was always calm and didn't talk much. Very unapproachable and keys maniac.

One day he was called to a company to help in unlocking a room which was accidentally locked by Aoto Junko (acted by Toda Erika), a lawyer, when her boss was inside the room. With the help from Enomoto, the door was successfully unlocked. Aoto who was impressed couldn't hid her amazement with Enomoto's work.

Serizawa Gou, boss to Aoto was always asked to help in solving a locked room murder even when he didn't like it but because he really cares about his popularity and reputation, he always accidentally involved himself in a locked room murder. One day, when there was a locked room murder, he was saved by Enomoto who helped in unlocking the locked room and solved how the murder was committed. Since that first locked room murder case, Serizawa always looked for Enomoto to help him every time he was again asked to solve a locked room case. Enomoto who was always intrigued with the term "Locked room" never declined his wish.

The three, Aoto, Serizawa and Enomoto became close to each other and worked side by side when there was a locked room case.

Hmm. That's all for the plot! :D When I first heard about this drama, I wasn't interested at all but because that time I didn't have anything to watch, I decided to give it a try. I'm not really a fan of Ohno but after watching the first episode, I accidentally fell on love with the role he was playing, Enomoto Kei. This Enomoto was so unique. His passion for keys and locked room was really is something. Then, I love how Ohno played the role. The way he was talking and walking were so original! And the tagline he said every time he unlocked a room, "Misshitsu wa, yaburemashita (The locked room has been unlocked)" with that hand gesture of his and Aoto and Serizawa's expression every time Enomoto says the line was just priceless! Reading the plot, I'm sure everyone would think that this is a very serious drama. But not at all. There are so many funny scenes. It's rare to find this unique detective drama that only focusing on locked room case. Ergo, this drama is highly recommended! <3
