Raya with Family, Friends and JUMP.

Okay, finally!! Hahaha xD I am now here to talk about my Raya this year. For some reasons, this year, I wasn't really that excited for Raya. Maybe because, I'm no longer a kid so the possibility for me still getting 'angpau' is thin. Plus, I'm going to sit for a big exam this October so I don't have much time to get excited over Raya and stuffs. However, I managed to enjoy the Raya as much as I did last year.

The day before the Raya was really a busy day for me and my siblings. We had to clean the house and stuffs. Yeah, we should have done all those at least a week before Raya. Hahaha.

Okay, let's now skip to the first day of Raya. That morning when I woke up, I didn't feel anything special at all. I got out of my bed at around 10 and as usual I went to have shower right away. What different was just that we didn't wear our usual clothes after showering xD We wore our new Raya clothes of course! Only after everyone was done showering and stuffs, the Raya excitement came!

Because we live in the same house with our grandparents, all cousins, aunties, uncles and other family members came gathered at our house that day. So yeah, it was even busier than the day before. As the eldest daughter, it was my responsible to serve all the guests with drinks and foods. So embarrassing! But thank God, I have my little sister who was more willing in doing all the work. So, I just stayed in the kitchen, pouring drinks into the glasses and then it was all left to my lil sis to bring those drinks to the living room and serve them to the waiting guests.

We took a lot of pictures with all our cousins but they still haven't upload those pictures anywhere yet so I can't share any with you guys. But I'm sure they took a lot of nice pictures. This year was the first year in which me and all my siblings wore the same colour for Raya. Oh, maybe I haven't tell this to you guys yet. Actually I am the oldest one among our cousins. After me is my auntie (sister to my father)'s son and he is a few months younger than me. Then followed by brother, Kei and Kenta. Coming after them are my uncle (brother to my father)'s two sons who are around Kenta's age. So as you can see, after me are FIVE BOYS! I think that is one of the reasons why I was quiet boyish when I was small because all my cousins that I played with when I was little are all boys. Only years later, my auntie gave birth to two girls! Yay! Finally, female cousins! And followed by my little sister. Oh, forgot my other younger brother who came after the my two female cousins. Hmm, okay, why am I talking about this anyway? I should shut up now.

On the first day of Raya, we didn't leave the house until we were sure that all the relatives already came that day. Because we didn't want the same incident as last year happens again. Last year, we left the house in around noon and went to my friend's house. While my parents and her parents were happily chatting we each other, my grandpa phoned. And he was like, "WHERE ARE YOU, PEOPLE!? COME HOME NOW! OUR RELATIVES ARE HERE! AND THERE IS LIKE...10 CARS OUTSIDE! I'M ALONE! HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO SERVE THE DRINKS AND STUFFS!?"

So yeah, we rushed home and found so many cars parking in front of our house and when we entered the house, we found the guests were the one serving themselves drinks (Okay, I'm not sure if my sentence makes sense but I hope it is still understandable). So, since that incident, we become more careful.

We only left house at night but instead of visiting relatives, we went shopping for ingredients and some other stuffs like tissues, spoons, forks. Because on the next day, the second the Raya, my mother was making our family's traditional ramen! Original recipe of the Ariake family! So on the second day of Raya, we stayed at home waiting for people to come the whole day. There were quite a lot of people came that day and enjoyed my mother's number one delicious Ramen in the whole world! I was happy that I was able to eat the Ramen after a long time (Because mother only make it once a year) but that day was so damn tiring! I was stuck in the kitchen and did all the washing =='

The third day of Raya! We finally got to the leave the house and went to visit some relatives and friends' house, together with my father's friend's family, in a van. That day was really fun and it was unbelievable and I actually still received 'angpau' ! Hahaha xD Oh, on the that day as well, it was my mother's birthday! Happy birthday, mama! I love you so much! And thanks for the ramen!

The next day, my mother was supposed to get back to work but she asked another off day from her boss because she wanted to visit the palace where our Sultan (on in other words, the king and royal families) are living. The palace was opened for everyone from the second until the forth day of Raya. I wasn't really excited to go there because the last time I went there, it was so crowded and very unorganized! But this year was completely different and very well organized. It felt so comfortable and all the foods served were amazing! We got to see the Queen and so I was pretty satisfied this time.

Then, for the fifth day of Raya, nothing special happened. My mother was already got back working and so, we just stayed at home, waiting for relatives.

However, the sixth day, I became busy again! xD Fumi-chan came to my house with her siblings at around 9 in the morning! She was the first friend that came visiting my house during the Raya. I was so happy but she didn't stay long and after about fifteen minutes, she needed to leave :( But it was fine because on the same day also, I had promise with Hana to come to her house. I picked Saku-chan up at her place and together we went to Hana's house! Something funny happened. We really didn't plan it but all there of us were wearing the same colour that day! Hahah xD We were like, "What a coincidence..."

At Hana's place, we talked a lot about stuffs. Because her parents were away so we made ourselves comfortable xD I was so disappointed to find Hana was watching Korean drama ==' but well, everyone deserves to love anything they want. So, I can't stop Hana from loving Korean dramas. At least, her heart is still more to anime and Japan. Saku-chan chatted happily with Hana while I was left forgotten. So, I just sat there quietly and I was lucky, because Ultraman was aired on TV that day. So I watched it lah while eating. Hahah xD Hana borrowed me a novel titled, "Battle Royale". I just finished the book a while ago. Will talk about the book later lah.

After about an hour and a half, me and Saku-chan thought that we should leave. So, before parting, we took some photos as memory.

After that, my father came to pick us up. Then we went straight to my house since it was still early to go to Haru-chan's open house. In my house, we watched some Hey!Say!JUMP and Bakaleya's performance videos xD It was fun! Saku-chan always wanted to watch JUMParty so I let her watched on that day :D She was so happy and laughed a lot. I was happy too. Because it has been awhile since I last fangirling crazily like that. And it was good to have a fangirling partner :D Thanks, Saku-chan. I was so happy! Really! I will show you JUMParty 2 (the members play Karuta) next time.

We went to Haru-chan's open house at around 4:30 pm that day. As always, Haru-chan was so funny. She talked a lot when we were there and her family are so friendly and nice. We made ourselves at home. Hahah xD The foods were all delicious too and there, they served Chocolate ==' I can't eat chocolate. Every time I eat chocolate, I would start coughing and lose my voice, if I eat a lot. But, at Haru-chan's place, I forced myself to finish the chocolate and yay! I did it! But...my throat...was itchy and hurting. I had fun there :D At first, I was like very shy because it was my first time meeting her family but slowly, I became very comfortable xD

We spent two hours at Haru-chan's place, talking, chatting, teasing each other :D I had fun! Haru-chan, thanks for inviting me to your open house.

I was supposed to send Saku-chan back to her house after that, but my father told me that we got invitation by the Princess (of our king) to her palace for...'open house' xD My mother works at the Princess's building, that's why she was invited to the palace. I begged Saku-chan to come with us and she agreed. Because it was our first time, so we were so amazed! Ah, I shouldn't talk much about this. So yeah...that's it. We had so much fun there.

And lastly, my family stopped over and Saku-chan's house. MY father talked a lot with her mother. I'm glad they got along pretty fast. I mean, I like it when my parents are close to my friends' parents. It makes me feel like we are all family.

That's the end of the fifth day of raya. The next day, I picked Saku-chan up again at her house and together with my grandparents we went to my auntie's open house. DAMN! That stupid cousin of mine trying to pick a fight with me as soon as we arrived there. Honestly, I don't like him at all. His parents are nice, so friendly and funny. But their son... *sigh* Maybe it is because he is the only child of the family, so he's acting like a damn brat. Every time I meet him, he always says something 'dirty' ==' Yeah, he has a dirty mind. He watches a lot of hentai animes and yeah...all those 'stuffs'. You know what I mean, right? I don't like him, really. But because I respect his parents, I have no choice to act all nice toward him. Anyway, that day, if only I hadn't learn martial art, my arm bone would already be broken by him. Luckily, I learned martial art! Okay, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ryoshi Ryu for inviting me to join the martial art class in 2010.

Haha! Candid picture of Saku-chan!! We stayed at my auntie's place until around 10-something- pm that day and karaoke-ing Raya songs xD It was fun! Until...that damn stupid brat ruined everything by grabbing away the microphone and filled the room with his awful voice ==' Maybe, he thought his voice was awesome but dude, it was horrible. My brother, Kei sings better than you. And please yo, stop flirting with someone else's wife =='

So, that's the end of my Raya story xD School started the next day after that. For me, the last two days were awesome! Because I have Saku-chan accompanying me. Saku-chan, I'm glad you were there. Thanks a lot!
