Hello, I am here again.
YO! So as the title says, in this post, I’m gonna talk about university. Do you
still remember that I applied into UBD (University of Brunei
Darussalam ) about months ago? Good news! I got
accepted! The result was out on 12th July 2013 (I’m not sure if I
got the date correct), I was so nervous that I didn’t even have the courage to
open the website where we were supposed to check if our names were on the list
or not. Luckily, Ohayopo-kun checked it for me and told me the good news. Who
is Ohayopo-kun? Hmm, I will write a special post on him later.
So, I went to UBD and
was handed the offer letter. I was so happy! I didn’t expect that I would get
in. LOL! I was so nervous and scared before the result was out, you know. A lot
of thoughts came into my mind. Yes, I won’t deny that I kept thinking of the
negative stuffs. But, well, that is all in the past! I got in! Seriously I got
in into the university!
On 22nd
July, I was told to attend a short briefing at the UBD. I had a hard time on
deciding on what to wear that day. LOL! Come on! It will be my first day
meeting the other students (except my friends those I already knew from the
start). I had to wear something that would give people a good impression about
me. The night before that I was so freaking nervous! I know, it was just a
briefing. LOL! Thanks to Anan, who picked me up at my house and we went to UBD
together. At least, I wasn’t that nervous when I arrived there and stepped into
the chancellor hall as I had someone I know beside me. He really did help me a
lot. On the briefing day, I met with friends that I hadn’t seen for months
since we graduated from sixth form! I met Awin and Rayma! Damn! I missed them
so much!
On the briefing day,
they explained to us about the forms we were going to fill in and submit on the
orientation week. They also told us about what should we wear and stuffs. They
talked about stuffs like our allowances and fees. The briefing was from 9 am
until 12 noon. It was…err…it was damn boring that I almost fell asleep on my
seat. LOL! It wasn’t just me by the way. Then, Anan sent me back home. If
you’re reading this, Anan, I owe you! :D
*Anan: My ex-classmate
from History class Block 5 in Sixth Form. We are not that close but he is so
nice (not really. LOL!)
So, the orientation
week started on 29th July 2013. But we still had to go to UBD on 28th
which was on Sunday to settle the fee payment and submission of the forms.
I
tried to come very early to avoid long queue but hell, man. The hall was
already full when I arrived there. I had to take a number at the counter and
waited at the very back seat. It was a long wait until my number was called.
Once I was done with
the payment, I went outside at the submission forms counter and yes, the queue
was super damn freaking long! So I decided to just chill for awhile and then, I
saw Ikki-san! Yes, THAT Ikki-san! He was wearing a light brown Cara Melayu and
was talking to Adib. Together with Saku-chan, I approached them. He said hello
to me and flashed that cute smile that I longed to see for months now. While
they were talking (Yes, I was just standing quietly there), I suddenly needed
to grab something in my bag but I had another bag in my hand which they gave
out at the payment counter. So I was having a slight difficulty there. Then,
Ikki-san just suddenly took the troublesome bag from my hand and held it for
me. Oh my! He is such a gentleman! I love that part of him! Then…I just
awkwardly said thank you.
We stayed together
until my pa came to pick me up. He said ‘bye bye’ in a cute way and waved at
me. I almost fainted you know!
That night, I just
couldn’t stop thinking about him. I used to have a crush on him before but I
thought the feeling was gone! Seriously! Because after we graduated from sixth
form, I fell in love so many times with some other guys. I fell for Kay (PKBN),
Mir (My ex-boyfriend… Well, I knew him from PKBN but it was a long story. I
guess, I will write a special post on him later) and Ohayopo-kun. Yes, you can
say that I am the type of girl that fall for guys so easily. But when I really
fell in love, I fell hard :P
I thought I already
forgot about Ikki-san… but when I met him again that day; I realized that I
still do like him, so much. He was after all…the only guy that approached me
and said that he had watched Hey! Say! JUMP’s PV! I didn’t expect that at all.
I like him.
Oh!!! Stop! LOL! I
should start talking about the orientation now! So, on 29th July
2013, it was the first day of the orientation day!
I was nervous! LOL! The
first day was quite boring for me, I think. Well, I met Ikki-san again, but
didn’t get to talk to him at all. The orientation lasted for about 4 hours in
the morning, then we had a break until 4 pm. That evening, we all gathered at
the UBD mosque and had our iftar together. Ikki-san was wearing a pink Cara
Melayu. He looked so cute in pink. And guess what, I’m not sure if it was
coincidence or what, but he was sitting right across of me so we were facing
each other! I had to control myself while eating because I afraid he was
watching. Overall, it was a nice view.
Now, the second day of
the orientation! I don’t really remember what happened on that day but I
remembered that was Library tour! It was my first time stepping into the
library building. It was freaking awesome! The building is so large and there
are a lot of books! I love it there! That day also, I got separated with some
of my friends and Ikki-san. I am in the faculty of Arts and Social Sciences,
while he is in the faculty of Science *tears*
The third day and forth
day, nothing much happened. I just had problems in registering for modules
online. Yes, we had to do it online and when all the students (plus the
seniors) tried to access the website at the same time, there was a ‘traffic
jam’! LOL! I tried my best to get an access to the site, but failed. I was so
stressed out and ended up getting mad at Saku-chan! And it seemed like she was
getting mad at me also. Oh come on! She should have understood me! DAMN! I
haven’t talked to her at all after that incident. Oh well. LOL!
Friends come and go.
I’m glad that I have
Naru-baka and Suki-chan who stay by my side no matter what my mood is :D
I guess, there is
nothing much to talk about now. I submitted my module registration exactly five
minutes before the deadline. It was a fight. LOL! Thanks to Awin, Rayma and
Jila! I love these people! <3
Result for the module
registration came out on 2nd of August, and I got all the FOUR
modules I registered for.
-
Introduction to Drama
-
Something Professional
Communication and Media
-
Kinship, Marriage and
Gender
-
Analyzing written
genres
And on Monday, 5th
August 2013, was my first class which was DRAMA. Yes, on the same day of the
Music Video shooting :D That is why I had to rush from UBD to Naru-baka’s house
and to the shooting location.
Oh, I’m tired. So I’m
gonna stop here.
Jyaa!
