The FIRST TEN

Morning! Sorry for not updating for the past weeks. My internet connection at home got cut and I’m not sure when will I have it again. Right now, since I am free, I think I should post up something. Oh, I’m in the library right now :)

The two weeks semester break was so exhausting. I went to uni everyday for rehearsals, discussions and stuffs. Semester break wasn’t really a semester break for me! But somehow it was fun. I had fun doing the rehearsals and meeting up with my drama classmates ;)

Yesterday, we performed at Bebeland for the kids. It was just a mini show, like not more than 10 minutes performance. The audiences were all small children. And guess what? I’m not good with kids! They don’t like me. My role was a fairy, the main fairy of the story. But I wore all black, except for my wings, they are pink. I think the kids were scared of me because of that. They think I am an EVIL fairy. Oh, I did look EVIL especially with the heavy make up on my face. But overall, it was fun :) I enjoyed it so much and wish I could do it again.

Btw, today is 14^th October! Guess what, it is my 20^th birthday! So, last night I waited until 12 midnight to see who would be the first to greet me. Then, I received a Whatsapp text from Ohayopo-kun. He said me a video of an Indian version of a happy birthday song! LOL! But then, he sent it a little too early, yeah, 11:30 pm (13^th October) :( So even though he was actually the first person to greet me, it’s not counted! So he is not the first >< And then, another text came it, it was from Az (drama), he said, “Happy birthday, Miki!” again, a bit too early. So I told him lah then he said he will wait for 12 midnight to greet me again. Hmm…

Tik tok tik tok.

The clock finally hit 12 midnight! And so, now I am here to announce the FIRST TEN this year! :D I will start straight away announce the first then. *CLAPS*

1. Az (Exactly at 12:00 *claps* A new name this year! Omedetou! :D)
2. Asuki-chan (12:02 am, you were the FIRST for the last 3 years, but this year... Hmm, but you still did great! I love you, my best-est bestfriend!)
3. Naru-baka (12:02 am, hoho. Last time you were around number 15, right? Haha. Omedetou! Ps: Your text came in at the same time with Asuki's but I chose to read Asuki's text first. Hahaa! :P)
4. Asdy (12:33 am, another new name!! :D)
5. Ohayopo-kun (05:39 am, you are actually the first to greet me, but you cheated  as you sent me the song at 11:30 pm 13th October, so that first one doesn't count)

"The First Date"

Hello! Haven’t been here for quite a long time! Nice to see you guys again (that is if anyone’s reading!). I have been super busy for the past weeks. I had a lot of meetings, rehearsal and a lot of other stuffs. It had been hectic weeks. However I had a lot of fun. Not just I had gained new experience but I even got close to the people I never talk to before. I feel awesome!

Let’s talk about Professional Communication: Introduction to media group project first :) It was our first assignment for the module. We needed like 5 or maximum 6 members for each group. Then together we would work for the project. I was in trouble when I found out. Well, you see…I am not good with strangers. So when the lecturer announced that I must look for group members, I was in seriously panic situation!

But thank God, I have Azee and Waff in the class. They are both from my drama class and they took me in. I was really happy! Then the three of us had to look for other 2 or 3 members to join our group but everyone seemed to be in a group already. We didn’t know who to ask until I bumped into Wakar (fellow schoolmate from sixth form) and he suggested two names that were also looking for members at that time. I gave the numbers to Waff and poof! Our group was finally complete!

So our group consisted of me, Azee, Waff, Ollie, Nuri and Yong. At that time I didn’t know how Ollie, Yong and Nuri look like… I met Ollie and Nuri for the first time during our first meet up for discussion in the library. I was lucky because they are friendly.

Since the group was complete, we held several meetings to discuss about our project. We had problem though in setting up the suitable date and time because our schedule usually clashed with each other and so our free times didn’t match. However, on Friday around weeks ago, we finally able to gather and discuss the whole thing that we wanted to do! :) I didn’t contribute much though into the discussion >< Because… first, I couldn’t talk, two, I wasn’t that close with them, third, I had no idea at all. So, I was just sitting there quietly and just nodded when they asked anything about their ideas. I was like agreeing in everything.

So, we planned on making a short video for our presentation! Yay! They discussed the storyline and script together while me…I didn’t do anything but sitting there and listening to them. I feel seriously useless.

The shooting went well! But I wasn’t there… I had class at that time. Again, I felt so useless that I didn’t get to be any help to them. But they didn’t mad at me at all. Azee still came to me smiling and all of them still treated me like a member of the group even when I wasn’t doing anything…at all.

When the person who was supposed to do all the editing couldn’t make it, I said to myself, “Okay! This is the time I should do something! I want to be a TRUE member of the group!” So I tried asking Ryu for help but he asked for payment >< and when I was about to give up, I remembered about Naru-baka!

So, I went all the troubles to come to her house and ‘kidnapped’ her to the meeting. Thank God, she was willing to help. Naru-baka did the editing for us and I was the one who kept coming to her house and stuffs.

Finally, the video is done! We gave the video we made a title and the title is ‘THE FIRST DATE!’ And everyone satisfied with it. I am happy at least I was able to be a help to them and thanks to Naru-baka as well. Then, it was finally the presentation day! Oh yeah! I was so freaking nervous but I wanted to do my best for the presentation. I was happy again because that day I somehow became a help for my group’s members. I brought the speakers and then I managed to send Nuri the video because she forgot that the video was in her pendrive and the pendrive was with her friend.

I was so nervous when the lecturer came! I was the first person to talk in my group so I was a bit shaky. I stuttered but I did it! And guess what, we got an A for the video and our presentation! I was so happy! But at the same time, I felt like I don’t deserve to be complimented, because I didn’t contribute much but still Ollie gave me a hug when the presentation was over and Azee gave me a big smile.

I felt like crying. Seriously.

They are all so nice and Yong even said that for the next group project, we all should be in the same team again and yes, he includes me… I feel so… I don’t know. Happy. Guilty. Sad. Touched. All mixed together.

Thank you guys. Thank you for everything. I am very glad that we were in the same group. Yong, Azee, Nuri, Ollie and Waff, you guys are awesome! :) Thank you so much!

So, when I tweet about the presentation on my twitter, also about how I felt like crying, Ikki-san replied the tweet. He asked, “What happened?”

HAPPINESS.

Since he asked, so I told him and he said that because I have good friends, they will understand no matter what happens. He is right. Azee, Waff, Yong, Ollie and Nuri, they are good friends.

Thank you, Ikki-san! You made me feel better :) and glad to know that you are doing well in UK.

Hmm… So, that’s it! The project was one of those stuffs that kept me busy for the passed weeks. Another one was drama rehearsal. There is a lot to talk about drama! Haha XD But I am really tired right now so I’m gonna talk about it, in shaa Allah, in my next post.

It is 1:56 am right now and actually I was out from 7 pm to 12:50 am… Hmm, to where? Well… it’s a long story but I will just make it short. LOL! I went to an AY meeting. I didn’t plan it! I was tricked into coming by Zaim! Haha XD You know…the cute guy from my drama class that I talked about in one of my post not long ago. He insisted for me to come and I came. I’m not mad at him, I was just surprised and I was like, “Oh my, I can’t believe that I am back here again” (I signed up for AY long time ago but decided to quit due to some reasons). Zaim is really a passionate person about his dreams and I really admire him! A lot! But I will have to think hard about re-joining AY again. I do have a thought that if I have Zaim to assist me in this business, I might succeed…but still, I have to think carefully first. My pa is an anti AY anyway ><

Btw, I want to thank Zaim for treating me to the restaurant and for sending me home. Thanks! :) Because it was like VERY LATE already, I had to sneak into the house, in order not to get caught. HAHA!
